Happy New Year!

We had a very nice quiet Christmas at home and Santa was very good to the girls! They got all three things on their lists and as Anabelle said, "He even brought me stuff I didn't ask for!" For Sadie, the highlight was getting Dora raisins in her stocking and new hand soap :0). Elise coudn't wait to try out her new trapeze bar on the playset and Anabelle went right to work on her Colorpixter.

I also have to add a picture of Anabelle. Three days before Christmas she lost her second front tooth and was so happy she could sing, "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!"

Hi Everyone!

We have been really enjoying these past few weeks preparing for Christmas. I got my shopping done early this year so I could spend more time doing the fun things!! The girls got to see Santa at Anabelle's school where they had a special shopping day just for the kids. This weekend we made a family gingerbread house and Elise and I went to see The Nutcracker. This week we're having some friends over to make ornaments with us and the girls are excited to make some cookies!! Hopefully, this weekend we can make it over to our local zoo where they will have a live nativity. That's always a fun event for us.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Today Anabelle and Elise had their Thanksgiving Feasts at school. Anabelle's class made turkeys for homework last week and on Friday each child voted for their favorite one. Well...Anabelle won!!! She was very excited!

Elise's class sang lots of adorable Thanksgiving songs and, believe it or not, she was the loudest and knew all of the words!

Sadie went with the flow and was thrilled to have two lunches :0)!

Dress and Dazzle!!

Today we had Anabelle's 6th birthday party! We had a Dress and Dazzle theme so the girls wore their favorite dresses and we told them we'd add the dazzle! We had 14 girls, so you can imagine the excitement when we took them upstairs to visit our salons! We had a nail salon, hair salon, and a make-up studio. Can you believe Danny even painted nails? The girls got all dolled up for our fashion show and what a hit that was! We had a red carpet, lights, and a disco ball to set the mood. Some of the girls got really in to their walk...it was hilarious! Here are some pictures of our afternoon!

Here are some recent fall pictures of the girls. I put in a few from Sadie's birthday and trick or treating. The girls got so much candy I wouldn't be surprised if it lasted until Easter (that is if it doesn't just mysteriously disappear first)!
