Yesterday, the girls & I went to Maymont. The colors surrounding us were absolutely breathtaking. I wish I had brought my better camera! I just wanted to sit in the Japanese Gardens forever... however, the kids were more interested in crossing the big stones, poking sticks in the ponds, and exploring the bamboo trails :0). I managed to snap a few pictures, though. Just look at all of the shades of green and how they pop against the oranges & reds...just beautiful! There's a reason I have all of these colors in my house!

I love Maymont! That it's free, that it's huge, that it's so beautiful. I'd love to see it right now in fall.
